Raber earns national study-abroad scholarship

Ayden Raber ’26 has been awarded the 2024-25 James G. Stemler Study Abroad Scholarship from Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) honor society. The scholarship, presented to 20 students each academic year, is given to ALD members who are pursuing a credit-bearing study abroad program.
Raber, a Fort Wayne, Ind. native, is planning to study archaeology in Italy during spring term 2025. In addition to his ALD membership, Raber is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Dungeons and Dragons/Tabletop Club and the Archaeology Club.
Alpha Lambda Delta recognizes students’ academic success in their first year at a college or university. The honor society’s mission is to encourage superior academic achievement, promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning. Founded in 1924, ALD is active on 280 campuses and has more than 1.3 million lifetime members.
