Best-selling author Rachel Macy Stafford to headline third-annual Women’s Brunch

New York Times best-selling author, educator and speaker Rachel Macy Stafford ’94 will be the featured speaker during Hanover College’s third-annual Women’s Brunch. The event will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 14, in the J. Graham Brown Campus Center.

For more than 25 years, Stafford has worked to help people live with greater presence, compassion and connection. With a master’s degree in special education and a background rooted in inclusion and relational teaching, she is known for translating complex emotional truths into accessible, life-giving practices.

Stafford is the author of five best-selling books, including “Hands Free Mama,” “Only Love Today” and “Soul Shift.” She also writes the Substack best-seller “Rachel’s Treehouse,” where she explores self-compassion, belonging and the courageous practice of being human.

The creator of “SOUL SHIFT,” a transformative eight-week online course, Stafford has supported more than 15,000 participants in softening self-judgment, building healthier boundaries and returning to their truest selves. She also leads retreats and workshops at centers such as Kripalu, Omega Institute and the Art of Living Retreat Center, creating spaces where people feel seen, supported and invited to reconnect with what matters most.

This once-a-year event provides an engaging opportunity for women to connect and be uplifted by meaningful conversations and a dynamic keynote address. The event is open to students, alumni and community members.
