In search of a unique setting for a special occasion? Whether you are looking for a place to gather with friends and family, mingle with colleagues and peers or say “I do” or “We can,” Hanover College is the ideal location. Centrally located between Indianapolis, Louisville and Cincinnati, Hanover’s beautiful campus provides a great getaway and scenic backdrop for formal and informal events with spaces available to host gatherings from five to several hundred people.

Event Catering & Dining

All food and beverage services on Hanover’s campus are supplied by Parkhurst Dining Services, the official campus provider. Parkhurst Dining can provide everything from light snacks and hors d’oeuvres to grand buffets and elegant served meals.

Brown Campus Center Dining Room

The main dining room in the J. Graham Brown Campus Center offers elegant space for everything from wedding receptions and high school proms to award ceremonies, auctions and live entertainment. The dining room seats more than 300 people with space for staging, audio/video equipment and a dance floor, along with additional seating space in the nearby lobby and patio.

Brown Campus Center North Dining Room

The J. Graham Brown Campus Center’s north dining room provides a smaller, yet roomy option that is ideal for gatherings, meetings and presentations. Adjacent to the main dining room, the semi-private space comfortably seats nearly 100 people and plated/buffet meals come fresh from the nearby kitchen.

Brown Campus Lobby and Patio

The J. Graham Brown Campus Center’s lobby and patio offer an ideal opportunity to combine the best of indoor and outdoor options.  Whether a ceremony or celebration, there’s space for 100 people – along with room for food stations and a dance floor – with convenient access to all the amenities within the Campus Center.

Withrow Activity Center

The spacious Withrow Activities Center (WAC) is located in the lower level of the J. Graham Brown Campus Center. With space for 200 people, the two-level WAC offers a built-in stage that’s perfect for ceremonies, performances and presentations.

Brown Memorial Chapel

Brown Memorial Chapel provides a serene, spiritual setting for various events such as intimate gatherings, lectures, vocal/instrumental recitals and much more. The historic campus chapel, completed in 1955, features variable seating for 100 people and chancel, all surrounded by beautiful stained-glass windows.

Josephine Ogle Conference Center

The Ogle Center is an ideal gathering spot for single-day and overnight meetings, seminars and social gatherings. The primary seating area includes space for 75 people, but can be divided into two separate rooms, and also includes an adjacent patio area.

The Shoebox

The Shoebox is an ideal place for an informal gathering of coworkers, friends or family. The “pub-like” setting is a perfect venue for everything from watching the big game or that must-see show or an intimate spot for karaoke, live music or even comedy. The Shoebox, with space for 50 people, also includes an outdoor seating area and menu offering such as burgers, wings, quesadillas, salads, shakes and more! [Beer and wine are available to those 21 years of age and older.]

The Point

One of the most-scenic vistas in southern Indiana, The Point is 3-acre outdoor space perched high above the Ohio River valley. Perfect for everything from a family reunion or corporate dinner to a musical performance or outdoor movie night, The Point features a grass-covered lawn as well as a centrally located large concrete pad, ideal for meal and beverage service, stage or screen.

Science Center Lobby

The Science Center lobby provides an intimate and stimulating environment for gatherings ranging from formal presentations to festive celebrations. Centrally located within the College’s science museum, the lobby comfortably seats 100 people with space for food and entertainment with easy access to restrooms.

Fitzgibbon Recital Hall

Looking for a great location to host a key presentation, awards ceremony, movie night or even a dance recital or musical performance? Fitzgibbon Recital Hall’s tiered seating comfortably accommodates nearly 350 spectators.

Quadrangle

Need a unique outdoor setting? Hanover’s campus quadrangle provides nearly 30 acres of grass-covered space that’s perfect for everything from weddings and live entertainment to team-building exercises and festivals. Surrounded by the College’s historic buildings, the quadrangle offers room to roam for hundreds of people, yet convenient access to parking and other amenities.

Classrooms

Large (51-120 persons) $200 and Small (8-50 persons) $150 classrooms are available and are great for small conferences or meetings.
