Hometown: Berne, Indiana.

What did you do prior to Hanover? I worked in enrollment management leadership at Franklin College (’96-01), Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School (’01-04), and Butler University (’04-16).

What do you love about Hanover? What drew me to Hanover, aside from the physical beauty of the campus, was very palpable sense that students loved their time on campus and were excited to be a part of the HC community. I chose to work for Hanover College because I felt it was a very real and meaningful way in which I could give back to the school that gave me so much.

Who was your favorite professor here, and why? Too many to choose from! I had fantastic faculty all along the way!

What’s your favorite place on campus or in Madison? On campus – it’s a tie between the Phi Mu House, the Sigma Chi House, and the trails that lead down to the river. Off campus – definitely the Broadway Tavern.

What are some of your interests, and what sort of things keep you busy? While my most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, I also love to cook, travel, and plan theme parties for any occasion (I’m addicted to Pinterest).

What’s your pump-up song? Anything by Rage Against the Machine or the Smashing Pumpkins.

Is there anything that you’ve always wanted to do but never have? Pursue an advanced degree.

If you could visit one place in the world, where would it be? French Polynesia.

What’s something that your coworkers might not know about you? I worked at Glacier National Park following my graduation from Hanover College.

What advice would you give to students who are navigating the college search process? Have confidence in yourself and trust the process.

What’s your favorite Hanover memory? As an alumna, there are too many favorites to choose from. However meeting my future husband would have to be at the top of the list!
