- Friday, May 22, 6 p.m.: Baccalaureate - Lynn Center for Fine Arts, Fitzgibbon Recital Hall
Seniors will march in cap and gown; Hanover faculty will march in full regalia. (Seating is limited in the Recital Hall. If seating is full, guests will be able to watch a live stream of the services in an overflow room down the hall.) A "baccalaureate" has traditionally been understood as a farewell address, in the form of a sermon, given to a graduating class. To commemorate the wonderful occasion of graduation and the adventures that follow this milestone, Hanover is hosting a Christian worship service, honoring Hanover's roots in the Presbyterian tradition. The service is approximately an hour in length, and will feature the Hanover Choir, and addresses from the College President, Campus Chaplain, and members of the Class of 2020. Parking is available behind CFA and the Library. No tickets required.
- Saturday, May 23, 10 a.m.: Commencement - The Point
Commencement Exercises will be held outdoors on The Point just south of Parker Auditorium. In the event of inclement weather, Commencement will be moved to Collier Arena. If Commencement is outdoors, there will be ample seating for all who wish to attend, but in the event it is moved indoors, the College will issue six tickets to each senior (Tickets will be delivered to student's campus mailbox; specific instructions for Seniors will be emailed to them prior to Graduation). There will be no extra tickets. Seniors with larger families may obtain tickets from classmates who will have fewer guests.
Please remember that Hanover observes Eastern Daylight Time.
