Hanover College’s Duggan Library has received a grant from Indiana Humanities to build a circulating collection of materials focusing on racial equity and related issues.

The Advancing Racial Equity Collection Development Grant provides funding for Hanover’s campus library to purchase print and electronic books, as well as DVDs, to explore racial equity and social justice issues. Featured materials will address a wide range of topics, including civil rights, culture, discrimination, law and policing, poverty, race and racism, religion and many more. The array of resources offers selections appropriate for adults, teenagers and children.

The College’s collection, expected to be available later this fall, will include more than 40 works, ranging from classic to contemporary.

This program has been made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities with funds from Lilly Endowment Inc.
