Gaming lab adds to Withrow Center
Devotees of popular video games such as Fortnite, League of Legends, Overwatch, Battlefield and World of Warcraft have a centralized location for competition with the development of a state-of-the-art gaming lab in the Withrow Activities Center.

The results of a collaboration between Hanover’s Information Technology Department and Office of Student Life, the dedicated space features six computers with a ninth-generation core i5 processor, 16 gigabytes of random-access memory (RAM), one terabyte solid state drive (SSD) and a GTX 1650 graphics card for high-definition display. Each machine is also outfitted with a dedicated headset, gaming keyboard and mouse with programmable buttons and macro keys.
In addition to the top-shelf space, Hanover is also now registered as an official Steam Café, allowing the College to purchase the most requested games and give students free access.
