IW Group, NMGZ founder Bill Imada to visit Oct. 20

Bill Imada, acclaimed international advertising/public relations executive and founder of the National Millennial and Gen Z Community (NMGZ) will visit the Hanover College campus Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Imada is founder, chair and chief connectivity officer at IW Group, a minority-owned and operated advertising, marketing and communications agency focusing on growing multicultural markets. His areas of expertise extend to multicultural communications, crisis management and partnership marketing. For nearly three decades, he has represented top domestic and global companies, including American Airlines, Coca‐Cola, Fox, General Motors, Lexus, McDonald’s, Nissan North America, Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc., Verizon, Walt Disney Imagineering, Warner Bros. Pictures and Walmart, among many others.

Founded in 2016, National Millennial and Gen Z Community is a volunteer-run national organization that connects young professionals and university students with corporate, governmental and nonprofit leaders. The organization, which represents more than 40 colleges and universities, actively engages the voices of younger generations through roundtable discussions, video conferences and think tank conversations with key business, government and community leaders.

Chetna Nayyar, an NMGZ alum and account executive at IW Group, will accompany Imada. While on Hanover’s campus, the executives will visit classes and host an informal gathering with students and NMGZ member Sophia Sullivan ’29.

Hanover’s NMGZ chapter, launched in 2020, is the only affiliated college/university in Indiana. Rachel Davidson, associate professor of communication, serves as chapter advisor.
