Bader earns second all-region nod

For the second year in a row, junior Robert Bader (Louisville, Ky.) has earned all-region honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America. Bader was one of only 12 athletes named to the PING all-Great Lakes Region team.

Bader led Hanover and ranked second in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 73.9 stroke average. He captured medalist honors at the Hanover Invitational in April and posted seven top-five finishes during the season.

He placed second in five tournaments and earned all-Heartland Conference honors with a second-place finish in this spring's 72-hole HCAC championship tournament.

The Golf Coaches Association of America was established in 1958 and maintains a goal of increasing awareness and the status of men’s golf. There are more than 750 members in the GCAA representing all three National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) divisions as well as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
