Students who wish to begin their college careers abroad will be able to complete their degrees in four years at Hanover College through a recently formed partnership with Verto Education.

Founded in 2018, Verto Education has reimagined the first year of college. Their approach focuses on learning both inside and outside the classroom, offering students a once-in-a-lifetime educational and cultural experience, combined with direct admission to partner colleges.

Through Verto Education, incoming students have an option to spend their first semester or full year abroad and, upon completion, receive direct admission to Hanover. This method allows students to begin their collegiate careers in small classes in an international environment – helping to determine their academic path – before continuing their studies on Hanover’s campus.

While abroad, students earn general education and elective credits that transfer seamlessly to Hanover. Student-to-teacher ratios, small classes and cultural immersion are top priorities through Verto Education’s custom curriculum. The program offers many options for study, including international business and Roman art in Milan, world literature and international business in London, European history and Spanish economics in Madrid, public health and sustainability in Latin America, or species conservation and ecology in the South Pacific.

Students who are interested in spending their first collegiate semester or year abroad should apply directly to Verto Education and select Hanover as the partner college of their choice for admission.
