Lights, camera, action: Filming for “The College Tour” set for May 2-6

The spotlight will soon shine on 10 Hanover College students as they star in “The College Tour,” a series on Amazon Prime Video.

Kara Busemeyer ‘22, Hailey Cocke ‘22, Katie Comer ‘25, Lily Compton ‘21, Luke Eppler ’22, Pablo Gallart ‘22, Manny Otchere-Danso ‘25, Hina Shono ‘22, Cara Stanback ‘22 and Zach Stringer ‘22 will each lead a segment sharing their student experience and love for the College. Cast members were selected based off of submitted audition videos.

Filming will take place across campus and in downtown Madison (Ind.) May 2-6. To get a glimpse behind the scenes, follow Hanover College on social media.  

The 30-minute episode will highlight the value of a liberal arts education, athletics, campus involvement, graduate program offerings, proximity to historic Madison and more. Hanover’s episode will air during season six of “The College Tour” coming out in November.   

Host of “The College Tour”, Alex Boylan, who won CBS television’s “The Amazing Race” in 2002 and has since hosted and produced programs on CBS, Travel Channel and Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), will be on campus May 3.


Kara Busemeyer ‘22, from Guilford, Ind., is a double major in business and sociology with an environmental science minor.  

Lily Compton ‘21, from Evansville, Ind., graduated with a degree in kinesiology and integrative physiology from Hanover. She is now pursuing a graduate degree to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.  

Hailey Cocke ‘22, from Jeffersonville, Ind., is a biology major and kinesiology and integrative physiology minor.  

Katie Comer ‘25, from Indianapolis, Ind., is a biochemistry major and art minor.  

Manny Danso ‘22, from Franklin, Ind., is a business major.  

Luke Eppler ‘22, from Evansville, Ind., is a business major with a communication minor. 

Pablo Gallart ‘22, from Valencia, Spain, is a business major with concentrations in finance and marketing.  

Hina Shono ‘22, from Tokyo, Japan, is a business and international studies double major with an economics minor.  

Cara Stanback ‘22, from Indianapolis, Ind., is a double major in music and psychology.  

Zach Stringer ‘22, from Hebron, Ky., is a double major in business and communications.
