It’s time for Homecoming 2023!

Homecoming 2023 – Hanover College’s largest alumni event of the year – will be held on campus Oct. 13-15.

Hanover’s 96th-annual Homecoming includes activities for all ages. This year’s festivities will feature the Class of 1973’s 50-year reunion, Duggan Library’s 50th birthday bash, presentation of the Alumni Achievement Awards and Distinguished Young Alumni Awards and, of course, Hanoverfest, the College’s annual all-ages party.

The celebration begins Friday, Oct. 13, with “Rock the Clock,” a pep rally-style event featuring the football team, cheerleaders and Homecoming royalty court. Campus personality DJ Tonee will provide music for the dance floor!

Campus will be alive Saturday, Oct. 14, with a wide assortment of happenings from morning to night. What’s on tap? Everything from the Class of 1973’s 50-year reunion, Class of 1998’s 25-year reunion, Class of 2013’s 10-year reunion and gatherings of Alpha Omicron Pi, Beta Theta Pi and Phi Mu alumni to the Duggan Library’s 50th anniversary celebration, presentation of Alumni Achievement and Distinguished Young Alumni awards and the theatre department’s presentation of “The Woods.” Be sure to check the schedule of events for much, much more!

Once again, the tailgate lot at Alumni Stadium will host Hanoverfest, the lively prime gathering spot for classmates, friends and families. Right next door, Hanover’s football squad will square off against Manchester University in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference tilt.

Hanover’s 96th-annual Homecoming concludes Sunday, Oct. 15, with a unique gathering. The Nichols Lifetime Inquiry Series presents a special theatre reunion with Tom Evans, professor emeritus, at the Ogle Center.
