Professor Jagels came to Hanover in 2000 after teaching for four years at Maryville University, University of Louisville, Universidad Carlos III (Madrid), and Wilmington College. His scholarly interests include mathematical applications and actuarial science. He also enjoys languages, classical studies and mythology.
Managing editor of ETNA, the Electronic Transactions of Numerical Analysis.
Publications in AMS, Elsevier, ETNA, and SIAM journals. Active referee for ETNA, Numerische Mathematik, Elsevier, and others.
